A new cancer study brings more bad news to the e-cigarette industry. Scientists exposed human bronchial cells to e-cig vapor and found that it altered the cells in a way not dissimilar to tobacco. In other words, that delicious, seemingly risk-free nicotine vapor might not be so benign, after all
On the other hand, e-cigarettes are not risk-free. Nicotine is generally thought to have health risks of its own, although it's hard to isolate those risks because researchers typically study nicotine in traditional cigarettes. Propylene glycol, the other major ingredient in e-cigarettes, is something we know relatively little about, but as with any chemical it could have its own health risks. And on top of this, the liquid in e-cigarettes could contain other contaminants.
People with low self-esteem become more addicted to smoking. Whatever the reason, once a person gets addicted to smoking, he/she has to face a number of serious health problems. Let's take a look at what are some of the health complications that an average smoker is exposed to. A startling yet interesting fact, is that ex-smokers have about 15 years before they are cleared from the high risk of getting lung cancer. Heavy smoking causes macular degeneration which results in gradual loss of eyesight. Smokers are also at a higher risk of cataract. Media related to Electronic cigarettes at Wikimedia Commons

I think the jury is still out on whether these things are good or bad for public health but those who say they are safe, that's not the case. They may be safer when used to get off combustible cigarettes.” One woman wrote that her husband began smoking e-cigarettes liberally in his car and home after being told they were safe and that the vapor was "just like water." But big tobacco is back on air, now pushing electronic cigarettes. flavored e-cig products
After a tooth is extracted, a blood clot forms at the base of the empty pocket, or socket, replacing the tooth. Over time, gum and bone tissue form to fill in the socket, replacing the tooth and the blood clot is washed away. A dry socket develops if the blood clot is dislodged prematurely, exposing the raw bone below. It may be excruciatingly painful and does not respond well to treatment with over-the-counter drugs. Symptoms E-cigarettes are extremely controversial. Because they vaporize liquid containing nicotine, rather than burning tobacco, some researchers believe that the devices could greatly reduce the damage done to health by smoking; others, however, argue that they are simply ‘renormalizing' smoking.
